They said volunteerism is the act of selflessly giving your life to something you believe free of pay. Filipinos believe in Bayanihan and they always volunteer esp. right after a disaster that's why a lot of NGO like Red Cross always tap volunteers. I was also invited in this event but I wasn't able to come.
